Florida lifestyle Photographer - Adventurous family session at Big Talbot Island - Heirloom & Oil LLC

I think it’s really important to consider what kinds of places your family likes to hang out when deciding on your photo location. There’s a lot to consider when it comes to your own personal family dynamics. Some locations require a bit of a hike or walk to get to requiring you to be a little adventurous while others are pretty easily accessible with strollers and wheel chairs. It’s also important to consider what your family enjoys. If you generally don’t enjoy spending time on the beach then chances are you will not be comfortable doing photos at the beach. You feel me?

I got to spend the best evening with the Levenson family on the beach at Big Talbot Island recently. It was just the perfect location and evening! We even got a few brief moments of golden sun beams shining down on us and we put them to good use. They even brought a little bucket for one of the kiddos to find her treasures because that is one of her favorite things to do. This is the kind of thing that lights me up as a photographer. I enjoy you and your family being you! I want to help document everyone as they are. Playing and exploring is a part of childhood and I believe it should be documented. If your child has a favorite toy feel free to bring it to your session. This is the kind of thing that helps tell the story of who they are as a little human in these exact moments. It’s the stuff I love to document with my own kids. The treasure bucket days won’t last forever and thats why I’m so inspired to photograph it.

This location is one of my favorites. It has a magical kind of vibe to it that I’m all about! Take a peek into a storytelling lifestyle session with me.
