Hi! I'm Maranda LeFebvre, owner of Heirloom + Oil.
Welcome. I’m so happy you are here.
All are welcome here.
I’m proud to be an inclusive photographer and a safe space for everyone—regardless of race, religion, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, or family structure. Love is love, and every story deserves to be captured with care and respect.
Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved creating—whether it was coloring outside the lines or (sorry, Mom!) making lipstick murals on the walls. Thankfully, I have an amazing family who’s always encouraged my creative spirit, even during those... experimental phases.
These days, I’ve swapped the lipstick for paintbrushes, cameras, and a variety of other mediums, but that passion for making art is still going strong.
I graduated from Brevard College in 2010 with a degree in Painting and Photography. After college, I bounced around a bit waiting tables, working in accounting, nannying, you name it. Art was always there in the background, but more as a side project than a career.
That changed after I had my first child in 2016. Becoming a mom made me realize that if I was going to spend time away from my family, it had to be doing something that truly filled my cup. For me, that’s creating art. My husband has been my biggest cheerleader through it all, and I honestly wouldn’t be chasing this dream without his constant support.
I’m super sentimental when it comes to photos and family memories, and that plays a huge part in what I do. My goal is to create artwork that means as much to your family as it would to mine.
My photography style is a mix of lifestyle and portrait work—from studio-quality newborn photos to candid outdoor sessions with families, couples, and expectant mamas. I’m drawn to real moments and all the beautiful chaos that comes with them. Think: warm tones, rich contrast, wind-blown hair, flowy dresses, tiny baby toes, and all the emotion.
Thanks so much for being here. I can’t wait to meet you and start creating your next one-of-a-kind family heirloom.
With love,
Maranda LeFebvre
